Caution-Slow Down Mr. President
Elect, Mohammed Dukuly
By: Sekou Kenneh-OPINION LEADER, MN
July 14, 2009
While I applaud Honorable Mohammed Dukuly for his historic election, I
am equally concern about the level of impatience and
gross-insubordination demonstrated by his recent appointments and
demands made to the present Felmausa leadership.
I
am concern about Dukuly’s appointments into nonexistent positions before
his inauguration. I am also troubled by the rumors that president elect,
Dukuly has issued a spending freeze on the current administration, while
he is said to be highly reluctant about turning over funds raised during
the just ended convention to the current regime. In view of the above,
may I state that With All due Respect Mr. President-elect and your
entourage, FELMAUSA is not a children play ground; it is the Mother
organization of all Mandingoes in the U.S.A.
First of all, we must respect our constitution, regardless of who is in
Leadership. Any Attempt Mr. President-elect to make appointments at this
time or to create any none existing position within FELMAUSA will be
counterproductive to the development of our organization.
This is because it will be a violation of the constitution of FELMAUSA,
and it will also be clear attempt to undermine the outgoing leadership.
Please don't rush ahead of yourself. Remember you have not been
inaugurated as of yet, and there is only one leader at a time.
Respectfully,
